the twins series was born from the idea of creating storage furniture for objects – objects that remind us of loved ones. a place where we know these objects are safe, where we can return to them and thus to our memories.

twin deals with the repetition and arrangement of elements. can the „calmness“ of an object be influenced with this design principle?

every individual element stands on its own and does not need the other. nevertheless, they are inseparably connected and only function as a whole.

furthermore, the surface which is created, explores the traces we leave as makers on the pieces, like memories, while working with our hands.
